post anterior publiqué un retrato de mi abuela paterna. Esta vez le toca a mi otra abuela ser la homenajeada. Así que le he hecho también un retrato.

Para aquellos/as interesados en saber como hacer un retrato, os cuento como he hecho el que os presento.
Primero trazamos una cuadrícula sobre la foto, esta nos servirá de guía para que las facciones sean lo más parecidas al/la protagonista del retrato. En caso que la foto sea impresa colocamos un papel vegetal encima y en ella hacemos susodicha cuadrícula. Si tenemos la foto en formato digital podemos abrirla en Photoshop y usando las guías tendremos una cuadrícula la mar de maja.

In case you are interested in how to do a portrait, here's my way.
Firstly is needed to make up a grid to use as guide to draw the features. If your photo is printed, you can draw the grid on a piece of onionskin paper, and put it over the photo. In case the photo is digital use the photoshop's guides.
Asímismo dibujamos otra cuadrícula igual o proporcional sobre un papel y en ella dibujamos el retrato usando como ya he dicho la cuadrícula como guía.

The next step is to draw an identical or proportional grid down a piece of paper and draw the portrait on it, using the two grids as guides.
Una vez estuve convencida del dibujo lo calqué a papel de acuarela, recuperé mis Vallejo para darle unos toques de sombra, et voilá!!
